Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra

Arrive at Jammu Tawi Railway Station at 6:00 AM. Meet the Apna Family representative and proceed for freshening up and breakfast. Begin the Jammu sightseeing tour with darshan at Raghunath Temple, followed by Ranbireshwar Temple. Later, visit Bawe Wali Mata Temple, Bahu Fort and the Bagh-e-Bahu surroundings. After an early vegetarian lunch, depart from Jammu for Katra. The distance from Jammu to Katra is approximately 50 kilometres and usually takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Check in at the Katra hotel at approximately 2:30 PM and take sufficient rest. In the evening, visit Katra Main Market for prasad, walking sticks, raincoats and other yatra essentials. Complete the Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra registration formalities and keep the required identity documents ready. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and sleep early in preparation for the next day’s pilgrimage. Overnight stay in Katra.

Wake up early and have tea with light refreshments. Collect the RFID Yatra Access Card and begin the sacred Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra at approximately 4:30 AM. Follow the traditional pilgrimage route from Katra to Banganga, Charan Paduka, Adhkuwari, Sanjichhat and Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Take adequate hydration and rest breaks throughout the journey. Breakfast can be taken near Adhkuwari before continuing towards Bhawan. Reach Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan around noon, depending on walking speed, crowd and weather conditions. Complete Mata Rani darshan, collect prasad and take sufficient rest. Guests may optionally visit Bhairon Temple depending on their health, energy level, weather conditions, darshan waiting time and ropeway availability. Begin the return journey to Katra in the late afternoon and reach the hotel at night. Enjoy dinner and take complete rest. Overnight stay in Katra.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and complete checkout by approximately 8:30 AM. Depart from Katra for Jammu Tawi Railway Station at 9:00 AM. No additional sightseeing is planned on the final day so that sufficient buffer time remains for road traffic, railway station entry and train boarding. Reach Jammu Tawi Railway Station between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Have an early lunch and purchase water or refreshments for the train journey. Proceed to the railway platform well before departure and verify the platform, coach and train-running details. Board the return train from Jammu Tawi to Delhi at 2:20 PM with the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. Tour concludes at Jammu Tawi Railway Station.
