Shri Jagannath Puri Spiritual Yatra

Guests will report at Delhi Airport in the morning and meet the Apna Family Tour Manager, nurse and coordinator. Our team will assist senior guests with airport check-in, baggage handling, wheelchair arrangements and boarding formalities. The group will board the scheduled flight from Delhi to Bhubaneswar. After arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, guests will be welcomed by the Apna Family representative and transferred to Puri in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. The road journey from Bhubaneswar to Puri is approximately 60 km and takes around 1.5 hours. After reaching Puri, guests will check into the hotel, have lunch and take adequate rest. In the evening, the group will visit Puri Beach for a relaxing walk, sunset view and peaceful spiritual time by the sea. Guests who are tired may remain at the hotel and rest. The day will begin early with tea and preparation for Shri Jagannath Temple darshan. The group will visit the sacred Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri. Apna Family representatives will assist guests with temple reporting, footwear management, queue coordination and senior-friendly group movement. Pandit guidance and a brief explanation of the temple’s spiritual importance may be arranged according to availability. After completing the darshan, guests will return to the hotel for breakfast and a short rest. The group will then depart for Satapada at Chilika Lake. At Chilika Lake, guests will enjoy a peaceful boat ride, scenic lagoon views and dolphin watching. Dolphin sightings depend on natural conditions and cannot be guaranteed. After the boat ride, lunch will be arranged. In the evening, guests may visit Puri’s local market and temple street for religious items, handicrafts and souvenirs. After breakfast, guests will check out from the Puri hotel and begin the journey towards Bhubaneswar through the scenic coastal and heritage route. The first visit will be Ramachandi Temple, located near the Kusabhadra River and known for its peaceful spiritual surroundings. The group will then visit Chandrabhaga Beach for a short relaxation break and scenic coastal views. The journey will continue to the famous Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its magnificent stone chariot architecture, carved wheels and historic artistic importance. Apna Family representatives will assist senior guests during the visit and keep the walking route comfortable. After lunch, the group will travel towards Bhubaneswar. On the way, guests will stop at Pipili Applique Market, famous for colourful handicrafts, decorative textiles, traditional umbrellas and locally made products. After reaching Bhubaneswar, guests will check into the hotel and rest. In the evening, the group will visit ISKCON Temple for darshan and evening aarti, subject to time and temple schedule. After breakfast, guests will check out from the Bhubaneswar hotel and begin the city’s temple and heritage tour. The group will visit Lingaraj Temple, one of Bhubaneswar’s most important and historic temples. Temple entry is subject to applicable religious and administrative rules. The next visits will include Mukteshvara Temple and Rajarani Temple, both known for their beautiful Kalinga-style architecture and detailed stone carvings. The group will then visit the historic Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves. Only the comfortable and easily accessible sections will be covered for senior guests. After lunch, guests will visit Dhauli Peace Pagoda, a peaceful Buddhist monument associated with Emperor Ashoka and the transformation that followed the Kalinga War. After completing the sightseeing programme, the group will be transferred to Bhubaneswar Airport. Guests will board the scheduled flight to Delhi. The Odisha Spiritual and Heritage Yatra will conclude with the blessings of Lord Jagannath and beautiful memories of Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar. Tour Ends.
